About
Starting in 2020 at TechTogether Boston, Fempower has worked to provide a community for womxn interested in technology. Women currently only represent 18% of people earning a bachelors degree in computer science. We believe that with access to mentorship and community, more young people will pursue studying computer science at collegiate level, therefore increasing the diversity in the field.
Bianca and Natalie started Fempower to allow for young people to find mentorship, learning and networking opportunities in tech such as upcoming hackathons.
We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
